31 Mar: VSex are now testing internet connected sex toys at both ends of the webcam chat connection. 20 Sep: Never thought about it much before but there is a substantial difference between the way billing at Camcontacts and other sites is done.  Most sites want you to "buy credits", which is payment in advance basically, while Camcontacts does "continuous billing" where they charge you as you chat.  No pre-loading is convenient but the down side of course is that you can end up spending more than you intended.
15 Sep: Flirt4Free announce a few more features; Tipping Shows, Party Chat and Paid Show Tips - all revolving around the payment-by-tip idea.  Very popular with viewers but less so with performers the tipping idea seems to be here to stay.  Most famously mfc seems to run mostly on tips, but other sites such as webcams.com also support tipping but with certain risks to chathosts and described here with fake tips.
