Larry Flynt says Palin is the dumbest thing & makes fun of baby Trig. Larry Flynt has been called many things in his infamous career, but decent likely was never a word used to describe the king of pornographers. In an interview over this long Memorial Day weekend, the smut-peddler commented on politics, which is always divisive by its nature anyway. However, Flynt crossed the line when he opened his mouth and made comments regarding the former Alaska Governor and her Down syndrome baby. Long a proponent of anti-Republican hatred, Flynt defamed Sarah Palin and branded her as cruel for allowing baby Trig to live in spite of his Down syndrome.
In comments originally made to The Independent, Flynt was interviewed about his sin-based business focus, which includes marketing the Hustler porn magazine to lonely men and operating a bunch of casinos, which take advantage of compulsive gamblers. Towards the end of the interview, Flynt goes off course, as he has a tendency of doing, apparently, and starts to open his mouth about the politics of the day.
Without warning, he starts targeting Palin by calling her the dumbest thing. Then, curiously, he also brags about having made a fortune off of her, which he sort of did, by way of a porn flick he released when she was the VP candidate. It was called—ready for this?—“Nailin’ Palin.” The trend of his insults at the former governor is really beyond the pale, but what can you expect from a pornographer who’s made a lot of money by demeaning women, for which there is also a huge market, by the way. Flynt also insinuated that Palin was cruel for not aborting baby Trig. Trig has Down syndrome, and in the interview, Flynt brutally goes after the baby by relentlessly referring to him as an “it,” several times! Flynt also alleges that the reason Palin didn’t abort Trig was due to political gain so that she could have more credibility with the pro-life movement.
On other politics-related comments in Flynt’s lower-than-low interview, he unsurprisingly expressed support for—you guessed it!—Barack Obama! It seems that socialist presidents who are hell-bent on destroying the US are also favorites of extreme pornographers like Flynt. Curiously, though, Flynt’s comments had the mark of racism in them despite the fact that they were ostensibly an expression of support for the president. You be the judge of Flynt’s pro-Obama comments:
"You ever looked at her (referring to Michelle Obama)? If he ever cheated on her she'd kick his ass. You know they may be black but they've got a very stable family.”
So is Flynt saying that all black people are supposed to have unstable and broken families? Sure sounds like it.
Ordinarily, comments by a pornographer would not be of much interest, but these anti-Palin comments take the cake because they are so beyond the pale. You can literally feel pro-Democrat Flynt’s vitriol coming right off of his interview quotes. Flynt’s comments are also illustrative of the fact that if you deal in pornography and support Democrat politics much of your life, you kind of lose your soul, to say the least.
